Eva - Emmet Vision Association

was established in 1993.

EVA was started by a few ladies at first then started to grow with more interest as it was organized as (Vision) . Vision to see progress and dedication to Emmet.

The first Christmas Street Lights were made and decorated by EVA's hands.  With the accomplishment of the first 6 decorations made, they were mounted upon Emmet's first Christmas Street Lights December 1994.  With that accomplishment, the 1st Night of Lights Christmas Parade was formed. EVA also sponsors the parade and refreshments afterwards.  The parade makes a 2 mile march and ride through the neighborhoods, trying to make viewing the parade easier for those who are not able to get out and stand on the streets to watch.

EVA, raises money from yard sales, auctions, donations, supper's, etc.

EVA purchased for Emmet's first Auxiliary Police, Bullet  Proof Vest.

EVA had made the City Hall Community Bulletin Board.

EVA purchase the City Park's Fence and some play equipment and some plants/shrubs.

EVA  also has helped with  St. Jude Benefit, working concession stand and extra hands where ever needed.

EVA is a proud helper and extra hands for the Volunteer Fire Department Benefits.

EVA,  I guess you could say through all of the benefits and support these ladies and  men of  EVA has been a wonderful asset to Emmet, Emmet's Vision of our small but big at heart city.
